"I heart" Interpretation

my favorite heart is the drawing trevor left

    as his last message to you.  

          for trevor it was probably the simplest way 

                 he could let you know how important you were to him, 

too tired to say it all in drawn out words.  

      a simple heart, but really, is there anything more that needed saying?  

          the heart said it all. it encompassed everyone and everything 

                 he had ever loved, and pierced each of your hearts with it's message.

then that simple image spread to the rest of us 

      who were blessed to know him, 

          and we in turn received it's message of love.  and so it goes.  

the story of a young man, who in his short life was able 

      to touch so many of us, with his personality, his strength and perseverance,

           his resilience and then acceptance, 

               his love of life and family and friends, 

and finally his heart, which has become for me, a symbol of all that is good in life.  

a simple heart, a great story of love, shared with all of us.
